The Story behind our new brand
The new Bridgetown Primary School logo features a harmonious blend of iconic elements representing connectivity, vitality, and natural beauty.
At its core stands a sturdy bridge, symbolising strength, unity, and the central icon of Bridgetown which is reflected in its name. This bridge serves as a powerful metaphor for strength and confidence, and the journey our children make as they grow up and cross over into adulthood.
Surrounding the bridge are two delicate gum leaves; the smaller one - our young students, and the larger one - a mature Year 6 ready for their next journey. Both are wrapped around the sun which represents the horizon and the brighter future filled with possibility and promise. These leaves pay homage to the rich Australian bush which surrounds Bridgetown, emphasising personal growth and resilience.
Our new logo is designed to represent the path created for our children and the whole community and optimism for a bright future.
